Welcome to the music room.
We will not be studying guitar in a formal way this year, however students will have the option to complete a unit on guitar as a part of their units of inquiry this year. Student will be given the opportunity to choose units of inquiry based on their interests via various provided choice board units.
All junior high students will be completing a weekly listening and reflection journal throughout this year and will exploring music from various music genres.
Grade breakdown:
Term One
70% Music
15% - Listening Journals
45% - Music Units of Inquiry. Students will complete 3, equally weighted units during the fall semester.
10% - Class Participation
30% Drama
15% Participation
15% Term Assignment
